From a name you typed to a rank you trust

Four moves, every time. They take seconds, and they add up to a list that is really yours.

  1. Add it

    Type a name and it is in. Catalog search fills in posters and details for films, books, games, board games and albums, and spots a duplicate before you make one.

  2. Rate your way

    Give one overall score and keep story, acting, and how it looks as detail. Or let them make the overall: weight them, and watch it move as you slide.

  3. Rank by gut

    “Which is better?” Answer a few quick picks and it lands in its exact spot. No pile of 8.0s, no second-guessing a number. Too close to call? Say so.

Is it really free?

Yes. The core app (lists, ratings, ranking, tiers, stats, and Wrapped) is free with no limits.

Where is my data stored?

Locally, in your browser's IndexedDB. Without an account, your ratings never leave your device. Signing in backs up your lists to the cloud automatically; you can turn that off, or encrypt backups so the server cannot read them. Adding a friend shares the names and overall scores of your rated items with them, and a list you publish is readable by anyone with its link. Searching for a title to add sends only the search text, through our server, to a public catalog like TMDB.

Can I lose my data?

Browser storage can be cleared, so we ask your browser to persist it and recommend an occasional one-tap JSON backup for peace of mind.

Can I import from Letterboxd, Goodreads, or a CSV?

Yes. Exports from Letterboxd, Goodreads, IMDb, StoryGraph, Trakt, TV Time, Backloggd, BoardGameGeek, and Untappd are recognized and mapped automatically, and any other CSV imports with column mapping.

Are there accounts or sync?

Accounts are optional and free, and the app works fully without one. Signing in, with Google or a code sent to your email, adds automatic cloud backup, friends to compare taste with, and shareable lists. It is backup rather than live sync: restore it on another device and it merges with what is already there.

Does it work offline?

Yes, it's a PWA, so once loaded it keeps working fully offline, no connection required.
